I am a graduate of the Costume Construction course at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London. Prior to this I also studied a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at London College of Communication.
Currently I am working as a London based freelance maker and costume assistant. My previous theatre experience includes working on Funny Girl, Dreamgirls and at The Royal Opera House, as a costume assistant, tailors assistant and stockroom assistant, respectively. I have also worked as a costume maker for the BBC and Channel 4, as well as working as an assistant on the MTV European Music awards, Virgin Holidays photo campaign and more recently the Black Eyed Peas pre-show at the UEFA Football Championships, Cardiff. My interdisciplinary work has been applied to my work at Condé Nast’s Vogue House.
I primarily do men’s tailoring, working on West End Musicals, Ballets and Operas, but have also made for women and children on various productions. The roles I have undertaken have been broad and varied, allowing me to gain greater experience in costume.
